Screw college. I sure did because at the time it wasn't for me. If there were pre-determined paths set for me, I ignored them all and forged a new path, MY PATH, for myself. Sure it's not easy, being an individual never is, but forget the BS of living a prescribed life. At least I can say: I did it my way. I'm also a big fan of reading and so my list of favorites would be miles long. So I suggest authors: Vonnegut because he experienced the futility of war and questioned it, Ayn Rand because deep down inside everyone could be that selfish, Sillitoh because of the Lon[e]liness of the Long Distance Runner, Plath because she never escaped the Bell Jar affect, Gabriel Garcia Marquez because of his imagination ... but screw Shakespere ... seriously ... I can never understand him, and I'm not stupid.Of course, I couldn't disagree more with her statement about the immortal WS. :-)

From CPK's blog...
Baby Countdown, that is. While she doesn't post often, she has a lot of spunk when she does. I LOVE her profile statement, because of its unabashedness - although the Sinatra flourish just doesn't seem like, well, her way.
