A new book with some of my work!

Last summer, just as I was moving into Union, Sam Portaro at Brent House suggested my name to an editor compiling advice for college students on the spiritual life. I eventually wrote two short pieces, and they are included in the NEWLY PUBLISHED book Spirituality 101: The Indispensable Guide to Keeping or Finding Your Spiritual Life on Campus. The book is by college students (or recent grads) for college students. The contributions span across the whole religious spectrum, and across most topics of interest to undergrads. It would make a great gift for anyone you know heading off to college, as well as a good resource for campus ministry / guidance.

You can order directly from SkyLight Paths, or else online. Unfortunately, right now it's most directly available only through large chains (Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Borders), but when I learn of independent booksellers who stock it I'll let you know. Amazon says it only has 5 left, so that must be a good sign!

My own contribution was only a small part (a piece each on faith+sexuality and vocation), but still it's always neat to see one's work in print. Check out SkyLight Paths, which publishes some cool other titles.
