The church of my dreams.
A few weeks ago, I discovered what is unquestionably the kind of church I dream of serving: Church of the Redeemer, "a Christian Liberation Community in the Episcopal Tradition." More on this later, but it suffices to read the Inclusivity Statement: "How Does Redeemer Live Out Its Commitment to Inclusivity and Diversity?" If there were any way to transplant this within the boundaries of CHI or NYC, I'd be in heaven - literally.
